This year's CV Team Symposium will be the first installment of a series of virtual webinars that will comprise the Chapter's 32nd Annual Conference.  

Topics will include: 

  • CVD Disparities: The role of the CV Team
  • SGLT2 Inhibitors and CV Disease
  • MCS and Cardiogenic Shock
  • Role of Echo in the Initiation of Cardiac Amyloidosis Therapy
  • The ACC Clinical Competencies Statement

Call for Cases and Abstracts

CV Team Poster Competition

  • CV team clinicians are invited to submit case studies, research-based topics, and quality improvement projects.
  • Accepted posters will be "presented" via an on-demand eAbstract Portal.
  • Poster prize winners will be announced on the last installment of the Chapter's annual conference series (a December date TBA).
  • Two CV Team submitters will be selected to do an oral presentation on the December installment of the annual conference series. 



ACC Committee Nominations Now Open

Are you interested in serving on an ACC committee?  This year there are more than 250 positions available across 50 committees.  You can see the open positions and self-nominate (or nominate a colleague) on the Committee Nominations Portal.    FAQs are here.   An on-demand webinar with tips to submit a strong application is here.

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, Sept. 25.  Applicants will be notified of results by the end of 2020. Terms will begin in April 2021.

ACC's 2020 Virtual Legislative Conference

ACC is taking this year's Legislative Conference virtual from Oct. 4-6. The three-day event will offer unique opportunities to hear from policy experts, ACC leaders, staff, and other stakeholders on key issues impacting the profession and patients. Attendees will also be able to interact with members of Congress and/or their staff and engage in discussions with other ACC members from across the U.S.
